Our aim for this part of the exercise is to continue our work on our project construction site, which is located next to the Trastevere Station, between Viale di Trastevere and Via Portuense.

We were modeling only the global shape of some buildings, which are belonging to the area.

For this exercise, we are modeling some opening details of the facades that are directly connected to our site and our future project.

This step is useful for having a precise analyze of the sun radiation on the facades that have a real visual impact on the plot. This process allow us to discover and understand the shadows on the area and on the others buildings.

Step 2 : Solar radiation – analysis

In a first time, we have to verify that we are in the right location, after that we can start the solar radiation with the certitude to have the right data.

1/ On the Solar Radiation window, the process : 1_Select the face that you want to analyse, 2_Choose your sun settings (season, day, time), 3_Select the king of data display (type, units, and style) 4_Validate

12.jpg 2/ Re do the same operation with a new sun setting is the good way for understanding the evolution of the sun radiation during the year, and which faces are more exposed or more preserved

3/ For having a complete analysis, we decided to be focus on a particular area of the plot and to make the solar radiation simulation for the 4th seasons. This last analysis allow us to understand the mains caracteristics of the site and to choose the best exposure for our futur project.
