Pine Tree - Trasimeno Square

The aim of this delivery was to model a chosen tree in Vasari. In our case, the trees in front of the building were truly important for what concerns shadows and solar radiation. Thus, we decided to model a pine tree, exactly the one we had in front of our façade. 

First of all, using a picture of the pine tree, we were able to measure its dimensions. Using these dimensions we modeled the tree in Vasari.

In order to model the tree, we had to create 4 different levels, each of them corresponding to a specific dimention taken from the picture. So, we realized a cylinder for the trunk and three circles for the crown.

Later, we assigned the parameters to the pine tree. More specifically, the one of the height. We assigned three different parameters: 5, 10 and 20 meters. 

In order to activate the parameters we ought to insert the tree in a project. Hence, we put our model in Trasimeno Square.
