The main subject of this lecture was the mass costumazation.

The first step was to open a family file, insert a reference plane, create an extrusion, and arrange the sides of the extrusion with the reference plane. The next step was the creation of the family file ‚mother‘:

We had to insert three reference planes that are useful for the design of the ‚mother‘ to be used as a base.

Then I assigned the parameters ‚m_height’, ‚m_length’ and ‚m_width’ as shared instance parameters to allow a change within the assembly file.

Composizione di vari elementi generati dalla variazione di due moduli.

Creazione del modulo base (mother) su families con parametri condivisi e successivamente un file (child) in families con parametri tipo.

Caricando la famiglia child nel mother ho creato una composizione sovrapponendo i due elementi.

Carico l'elemento composto in project e tramite la variazione dei parametri creo la composizione.

Per la quarta esercitazione mi sono cimentato in una composizione Tettonica, con l’ausilio di un nuovo template iniziale per i vari file di famiglia ovvero “Generic model face based”.

We created a family in a metric generic model.

The beginning was to draw two reference planes and the adding of a dimension between them (DI). We had to be sure that its metric, therefore the parametric Modell. 

The  next step was creating a rectangle (extrusion) and finish the exit mode. 

To lock the size of the rectangle to the given reference planes we aligned and locked them. Each one. After this we changed into elevation where we draw also reference plane. There we added the dimensions, aligned them and locked the rectangle sides.
