Here are the different steps, in English and then in French (because my revit is in French).

1. Create family -> English -> generic metric model

2. Family type -> new parameter -> shared parameters -> select -> shared parameters file -> parameter group = "lezione 3"

3. Family type -> click on H/L/l -> modify -> occurrence -> validate

4. Create 2 reference planes -> annotate -> align

5. Create -> extrusion -> square -> align

6. In front view -> create reference line -> annotate -> align

  1. Starting from the family created previously, the family in which we have activated the occurrence, to be able to modify the measures at our will.
  2. A new parameter will be added to this family: the text
  3. We import the family into a new project
  4. Place the shapes on a plan
  5. After placing the elements in the plan, we place reference lines in order to delimit zones to separate the different elements

  1. Use the base to create a cube from last week’s instructions. You can create a new reference plane.
  2. Go to Parameter Properties. Change the family parameter settings from Family Parameter to Shared Parameter and from Type to Instance.
  3. Create new parameters for the height, width, and length dimensions, and name them "s_parametername". Add a text parameter so you can name the different types of objects in the composition.
