How can i insert a reference to rotate this object?1_0.png

Hi Rodrigo!

I didn't understand what you're trying to do. If you want to make rigid rotations of nested families, there are many ways and you have to choose:

1. You can rotate them in the "mother" family, but in this case you don't have the rotation parameter in the nested families.

2.The easiest and finest way is making two degree of nesting: model the object to rotate in the first family; load it in a new family where you can rotate it as a rigid object, then make the rotation as instance parameter; load this family in the final assembly family, where you can put several families and rotate each of them, just changing the parameter value.
Be careful: a vertical family is always vertical and you can rotate it only on the horizontal plan. So, if you want to rotate it on the vertical plan, you have to model the family to nest, thinking that the reference plan is the vertical plan, and then, when you load it in the other family,  choose a vertical plane as host.

3. You can also make both geometry and rotation in the first family, but in this case you should be very attentive to the sequence of actions, which can cause the presence of implicit parameters. If you want to try this way, I recommend you this old post: http://design.rootiers.it/2010/node/52
