In order to analyze the solar radiation on the building studied in the first exercise, we have to continue modeling through the definition of particulars on the facade: adding windows and balconies, we can better define the shape and the behaviour of the building during the day.
STEP 1: Select the mass on which you want to add particulars.
Per questa esercitazione abbiamo analizzato la radiazione solare sui fronti nord e sud dell'edificio e del contesto ed il comportamento di questa in presenza di bucature e balconi.
STEP 1: Lo studio della radiazione solare si effettua cliccando il tasto "solar radiation" nella barra "analyze".
Dopo aver ultimato i volumi dell'area in questione, nell'esercitazione precedente, vediamo ora come migliorare il nostro modello e come caratterizzare il nostro volume, inserendo balconi, finestre, porte, aggetti e le falde dei tetti. Aggiungendo, al progetto, questi elementi, possiamo poi andare ad analizzare, non solo l'irraggiamento, ma anche la radiazione solare.
In order to study the glass surfaces we can model the windows and balconies and we can better define the shape of the building . We select the mass and click on "Edit in-place" in the Modify Menu .
Now with the drawing tools we can define the shape and measurements of the window. Pay attention to the work plane on which you are drawing.
The units can be changed directly. You just have to click on it.

Per svolgere l'analisi della radiazione solare sull'edificio preso in esame nella prima esercitazione, continuiamo la modellazione attraverso la definizione dei particolari di facciata. Seguono i passaggi per l'aggiunta di elementi agettanti e la creazione di vuoti in facciata.
