Step 1 : Designing a tree

Our project consists of 4 different buildings, going of 5 floors to 10 floors. Every building are divided in two, with one floor reserved for the services. This one allows to create a space in every volume, visible from the outside.

We analysed the shadows planned by the various buildings, in summer and winter:

Sebbene ancora in fase ideativa, e quindi ancora privo di bucature definite, il nostro progetto si presenta come un'edificio unico di otto piani, caratterizzato da piani sfalsati ed una bucatura centrale adatta ad inglobare una zona servizi interna/esterna all'interno del complesso.

In questa consegna ci siamo occupati di studiare l'ombreggiamento del progetto durante diverse fascie orarie e periodi dell'anno e , in secondo luogo , l'analisi della radiazione solare dello stesso.

Step 1 : Understand the context of the project

_Our site project is caracterized by the diversity of its context : it is surrounded by different residential typologies, differents programs (residential, commercial, infrastructural ..), and therefore different architectural elements (train station, high residential buildings, low residential buildings). This characteristic is fondamental to the conception of our project which is to create a new identity to the project area by reinforcing its presence.
